The Treasure Coast · Planning guide

Slow days in
Jensen Beach.

A riverfront walk, a little coastal discovery, then back to your own pool. Build a getaway with a few good plans and plenty of space between them.

Start beside the Indian River Lagoon

Indian RiverSide Park in Jensen Beach brings together waterfront walking, picnic spaces and an interactive play fountain. It is also home to The Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast. Choose a short walk or make it a longer family outing, depending on the weather and your group’s pace.

Make time for coastal wildlife

On Hutchinson Island in Stuart, the Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center has marine-life exhibits, sea turtles, stingrays and a nature trail. Check its official site for current programs, tickets and opening times before you set out; parts of the visit are outdoors.

Leave an afternoon unplanned

When you have a private pool, you do not need to fill every hour. Pick one outing for the day, allow time for lunch, and keep the afternoon flexible. If an ocean beach is on your list, check current conditions and access information before leaving.

Choose a home that fits your group

Our Jensen Beach Retreat has three bedrooms for up to six guests, a private pool and views across the Indian River. The sleeping arrangement is one king room, one queen room and a room with two single beds. Read the property’s house notes, including occasional nearby train noise, before deciding whether it suits your stay.
